According to India Government data, a shocking 32.4 per cent of road accident victims in India are young adults between the ages of 15 and 24. And, unless immediate measures are taken to check this situation the number can only be expected to rise as more and more young people take to the roads and whiz about town in their newly acquired motorbikes, cars and scooters. Such a situation would be disastrous for India where a whopping 1,30,000 people died on roads in 2010 alone. India has overtaken China to become the country with the worst road traffic accident rate.
